Who: All Ages (5 through Adult)
Join the social scene and beach community here in San Diego and let San Diego Surf show you how to harness the power of the ocean and ride its energy!  Your hour-and-a-half lesson will begin on the beach with some basic technical information and have you in the water and riding the waves about 30 minutes later!
 


Instructors: If you want to maximize your surfing skills, guidance from an experienced professional is crucial to success.  Beginning surfers can easily become discouraged when trying out the sport on their own--San Diego Surf's instructors seamlessly eliminate those frustrations.  All of our instructors are trained, experienced surfers, eager to share their passion for surfing with you! They are first-aid certified and well-versed in ocean safety.

• 1 hour water instruction
• 1 hour FREE surf board rental after your Surfing lesson (SUMMER ONLY)
• Water safety and ocean awareness
• Lateral currents and rip tides
• Basic ocean safety
• Paddling and positioning on the board
• Basic wave reading knowledge
• Standing up and lots of practice!!

Equipment: Surfing's all about a laid-back, stress-free lifestyle, so don't worry about extra expenses--we will provide all of the surfing equipment you need: surfboard and leash, wetsuit and waxer.
